Our speciality is in custom ‘traditional’ saunas, also known as Finnish saunas or dry saunas. They rely on radiant heat from a wood-fired or electric heater filled with stones that can be splashed with water to create a burst of steam (löyly).

When designed and built with care, these structures can be works of art. Each Otso sauna is drafted to integrate seamlessly with its environment, whether you’re looking for a hidden  sanctuary or a statement piece.

Our quoting process involves a site visit to understand the space and your needs. We discuss your desired sauna lifestyle and your taste preferences to make recommendations for everything from layout to materials.

As each one is custom made, build time depends on the job, but can take anywhere from a week to a few weeks or more. When finished, we check in for the first few months to ensure everything is working perfectly and make any adjustments needed as the wood settles in.
